OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the Qualifying Engineering Examination (QEE) is to assess at an
early stage if the students possess the intellectual skills needed in pursuing the desired
course in the field of engineering. Specifically, it aims to:
1. Encourage student’s mastery of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects;
2. Develop among students the value of hard work, discipline, and perseverance;
3. Encourage students to strive for excellence; and,
4. Strengthen the quality of engineering education in LPU Cavite.
GUIDELINES
1. All incoming classified as third year students including transferees of Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Engineering (CpE), Electronics Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Industrial Engineering (IE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) and all other engineering program that may be offered by Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite Campus who have passed all the Mathematics, Physics, General Chemistry and English subjects as prescribed in their respective curriculum, must take and pass the qualifying examination before they could be allowed to enroll in any major or professional subjects.
